RainCHECKS Amaia Steps Novaliches – the home of PBB All In!
Yesterday morning I was at Amaia Steps Novaliches checking out the future unit of the yet to be known ABS-CBN Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All-In Winner.
Amaia Land Corp is the economic housing arm of Ayala Land Inc. that caters basically to the broad C market and offers residential properties that are below the 3.1M pesos economic housing cap. Amaia literally means ‘a high place’ in Spanish which expresses the mission of the company of bringing into reality the fulfillment of the Filipino aspiration of owning their dream homes at an affordable price range. The developments are backed by the Makati Development Corporation BuildPlus (MDC) and maintained by Ayala Property Management Corporation (APMC).
Amaia Land Corp is divided into three product lines:
- Amaia Scapes – Horizontal Developments (Outside Metro locations)
- Amaia Steps – Mid-rise Vertical Developments (Near Metro Locations)
- Amaia Skies – High Rise Vertical Developments (In Metro locations)
Amaia is also the official home of ABS -CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All-In, particularly Amaia Steps Novaliches.
Pinoy Big Brother All In
PBB All-In marks the first time in the history of the Big Brother franchise that an edition features a mix of teen, adult and celebrity housemates. Deriving its popularity from gathering a myriad of different housemates with clashing personalities and backgrounds as they reveal their true selves while inside the cordoned-off and closely-monitored by multiple cameras.
For PBB All In, the familiar Pinoy Big Brother house just across the ABS-CBN headquarters undergoes major enhancements that bear the Amaia brand. The winner of PBB All In takes home as part of his prize package a brand new condo unit at Amaia Steps Novaliches.
The PBB Amaia Unit
The 33 sqm condo unit prize is worth 2M pesos and is located at the 2nd floor of one of the already completed 5-story building inside the Amaia Steps Novaliches community. Amaia executives tells us that we were the first outsiders to see the condo unit that will be awarded to the PBB All-In winner. The PBB unit at room 221 is still bare but the producers of the reality show will have the room furnished by an interior designer before the formal turn-over.
Amaia Steps Novaliches
Amaia Steps Novaliches is a modern and contemporary-inspired mid-rise project located along Susano Road at the heart of Novaliches. It is strategically located near many exit points like the Camarin Road, Deparo Road and Novaliches Bayan which has good access to public transportation, schools, hospitals, and commercial centers.
After visiting the actual site, we then went to the Amaia Steps Novaliches Showroom and Sales Office located along Quirino Hiway to grab some quick lunch and to see their sample units.
Amaia Steps Novaliches Amenities:
- Swimming pool
- Basketball court
- Landscaped gardens
- Support for retail establishments
Amaia Steps Novaliches Units:
- 33 sqm unit with balcony (2M pesos)
- 30 sqm unit without balcony (1.4M to 1.5M)
We asked Amaia sales executives how much would be the usual monthly amortization for a single unit and told us that it will depend on the payment plans but the lowest would be at around 12 to 13K monthly plus a 20% down payment. The lowest indeed compared to all the other Ayala property developments.
Amaia Steps Novaliches will be a 20-building community after completion with a total of 2,016 units. Amaia Steps Novaliches will also be the first Amaia development to include a townhouse or 2-story series housing. The units however are still not up yet but they are already open for pre-selling at 2.5 to 2.9K pesos per unit.
Check out also the other Ayala Land Inc. property development groups – Avida (entry level – 3M and up), Alveo (High-end) and Ayala Land Premier (Luxury).
