Fresh Start? Start Fresh with Freshgear Jeans! Come August 2014, Freshgear Jeans will be up for a fresh make-over from being the adventurous, ambitious youth-spirited brand to becoming the preppy, fast fashion brand that embodies good clean and classy fun!
Freshgear can be found at the boys and girls’ teen section of SM Department Store.
I got a chance to talk to Freshgear Jeans’ Brand Marketing Lead Michael Celis last Friday at their branch in SM City North EDSA to talk about the big changes happening with Freshgear.
“The new Freshgear will be all about clean fun – burger after school, music..” Celis said.
According to Michael Celis who is also a college professor in one of the country’s top University, the new Freshgear will do away with big prints and statement shirts and will play more with cool, clean and exciting colors and fabrics. They’ll probably retain some of the designs but basically it will be a total make-over, hence the campaign tagline #StartFresh or #FreshStart
There will be some logo changes as well and special own-able brand icons will be introduced in succeeding campaigns.
Celis also described the new Freshgear image as similar to what Gap, Benetton and other similar style brands are offering the consumers but without the pricey tags.
“Definitely mas mababa ang price range namin from the big international brands,” said Celis. “But we are not banking on affordability, what we are banking on are our brand’s style that is totally young, fun, fresh and clean.”
I had the chance also to check out some of their existing style line and shop for some summer outfits and quite frankly, I find their styles already fashionable and affordable – so I am very much excited to see their style upgrades on August!
I think now is the best time to shop for jackets at Freshgear because they are currently on SALE, plus when you score a total of 1,000 pesos on all regular priced items you get to take home a nice water bottle holder. Freshgear’s best-sellers this summer are their shorts and polo shirts.
Here are the items that I bought at Freshgear last friday.
Before leaving the store, Michael Celis announced that as part of their #StartFresh campaign for the launch of the new Freshgear styles in August, a school tour will be conducted at UST, Lyceum and San Beda. Also part of the brand activation campaign, Freshgear will tap fashion, lifestyle and campus bloggers for a blogger style challenge – a first for the brand.
Freshgear Jeans is now already 9 years in the market, they started as a brand that carries the teenage line of Freego and is now currently making a strong brand name for itself.
