VIBER went all-out in support of the recent super typhoon Yolanda victims by creating several initiatives that not only provides monetary aid to relief operations but also helps bridge the communication gap between victims of the recent calamity.
The company launched VIBER HELPS through its Viber Out expanded service which offered free local and international mobile communications. Plus, in coordination with the Philippine National Red Cross, AFP-PAO, Ayala Malls, Globe and other Telcos – VIBER was able to set-up several SAGIP TAWAG Relief Communication Centers that offers all modes of communication from calls to online messaging for FREE to victims.
VIBER also initiated two fund-raising concerts last week:
The United Republiq: An Electronic Music Assembly for a Cause dance concert party featuring renowned Swedish DJ Axwell and Nicky Romero held last November 21 at the MOA Concert Grounds
The Soul Brothers Concert featuring RnB singers Jay-R and Kris Lawrence held last November 22 at the Music Museum.
