ENCHONG DEE said that TUHOG is not as challenging as his role in THE STRANGERS but not because of the quality of the film nor the role that was given to him but because he feels right at home with the whole production team and co-actors that he didn’t feel any pressure in doing it.

“I feel so at home with Direk Ronnie and Jinkee (Direk Ronnie and Jinkee co-wrote the screenplay for TUHOG),” said Enchong.  “This is my 2nd time working with them and talagang  sobrang nag-jive kami.  Actually, during casting nag balak silang maghanap ng alternative ko because of my schedules pero sabi ko gagawin ko to.

Another thing Enchong was most excited about TUHOG was working with EUGENE DOMINGO.

I am really a big fan of Eugene pero ngayon friends na kami.”  Enchong said.

Enchong plays Caloy in TUHOG.  So how did he prepare for his character in the film?

May humor pa din at may reality.” he added.

Enchong also explained that his character in TUHOG although very much different from his personality mirrors what almost every young male person undergoes during their teens.  A most exciting period in time when losing one’s virginity seems like everything and nothing is more important.

“I had to be honest, lahat naman tayo dadaan sa pagka-manyak stage bago lumagpas ng puberty. Enchong said.

Enchong followed up by giving some advice specially to those who has never yet experienced that stage.

“If you are going to lose it, make sure it’s the right person you lose it with.”  he said.

“No not really.” Eugene Domingo answered back and laughs.
