Checked out the UNIQLO UT POP-UP! Store at the Ayala Triangle Garden yesterday!
This is the first-ever pop-up store in Manila and it will only be in the area until today (April 26). This was inspired by the innovative approach of the traditional pop-up shop concept which is being done all over the globe. UNIQLO just recently staged their largest ever pop-up store! at the Shibuya train station in Tokyo, Japan. More about that story on RainCHECK: UNIQLO POP-UP STORE MNL.
Aside from the different UT shirt design displays, the exhibit area which is located at the Ayala Triangle Gardens also features several student art pieces as well as the UT CAMERA booth where visitors can get their 2 second video shot that will then be uploaded to the global microsite of UNIQLO and also to the huge LED screen at the exhibit area.
Present during the opening are UNIQLO Philippines COO Mr. Katsumi Kubota and the UT Grand Prix 2013 T-shirt design competition Runner-up Karlo Victoriano.
Just across the UT Pop-Up! Store MNL Exhibit area and inside the Paseo Center is the UT Pop-Up Store! Selling area where all the new and never-before-seen designs are located and sold. You can get a 200 pesos discount coupon at the UT Pop-Up! Store Exhibit Area when you get your video taken at the UT CAMERA booth. Check out some of the cool designs they have in the store:
The UT Pop-Up! Store MNL will only be until today (April 26). So hurry and get your butts there because the UT designs in the Pop-Up! Store will not be available yet at the UNIQLO branches in MOA and North Edsa.
Mr. Kubota announced during the interview that UNIQLO will be coming out with five (5) more stores in the Philippines this year, the first of which is the UNIQLO SM AURA store in Taguig in May.
