Our family’s Lenten commitment includes the Visita Iglesia during Maundy Thursday.  This year, instead of planning an itinerary for the usual seven churches, we decided to just visit the Churches in and near the Paco area.  We were able to go to San Fernando De Dilao (Paco), St. Peter the Apostle (Paco), Our Lady of Penafrancia Manila (Paco) and Sto. Nino de Pandacan.

Here are some images from the places that we visited:

San Fernando De Dilao located in Paz (near the Paco Market area) is the current seat of the Archbishop of Manila. This is where we go to Mass on Sundays.

The Lenten Altar of Sto. Nino de Pandacan was placed outside the parish so that more people could vigil around it.
