GMA Network formally announced in a press conference last January 28 (Monday) the return of one of the pioneering cooking show in the Philippines for 3 decades now. This breakthrough program piloted in 1984 with the aim of providing people specially busy moms with simple, fast and budget-friendly recipes.
These recipes are prepared by their well-experienced Del Monte Chefs and are consumer-tested to guarantee that they are easy-to-prepare and also to make sure that the entire family will enjoy them.
“We’re excited to let everyone know that Del Monte Kitchenomics is now back on TV. This year, we made our show more appetizing for your viewing pleasure. We’ll take our viewers to different places; we really want them to enjoy our cooking adventures. And of course, this show is made especially for modern moms. If you’re looking for recipes that your family will surely love, but at the same time easy and quick to prepare, then this is the cooking show for you,” said Susie Aquino, Senior Brand Manager of Del Monte
Aside from the cooking adventures, the new season of Del Monte Kitchenomics presents its new tandem in the person Chef Dino Ferrari and Eugene Domingo.
“We have always chosen brand ambassadors who are passionate about food and life. Eugene Domingo is an amazing actress. She makes any show engaging and entertaining. Chef Dino Ferrari is our culinary expert. He was trained in the Philippines and in France as well. They both have a wholesome, approachable image consistent with the Del Monte Brand. We’re very happy to have them as part of the Del Monte Kitchenomics family,” Aquino added.
Both Chef Dino and Eugene are excited to be part of the Del Monte Kitchenomics cooking show on GMA. Chef Dino even conducted a live cooking demo during the conference preparing for the audience the famous Del Monte Hawaiian Steak.
“It’s awesome to be part of such a big family with tried and tested products through the times,” said Chef Dino.
Chef Dino also shared to the crowd his specialties and favorites which are French and Italian cuisines with a special mention on his ‘slow-cooked salmon with white choco wasabi’ – thinking about the combination of ingredients is already mouth watering, I bet that dish is really delicious.
Eugene on the other hand prefers spiced-up pasta dishes and fish. She also admitted to being a fan of Del Monte Kitchenomics since the Chef Daza days.
“This is a good chance for me to learn more about how to prepare and cook my favorite dishes the easiest way. I feel so blessed and I am so excited to be a part of the Del Monte family. With me and Chef Dino as partners in the Del Monte kitchen, cooking will truly be delightful.” Eugene said.
