This annual CCP Open House Festival is the largest multi-arts festival in the country involving more than 3,000 artists and 128 shows in a single day.  The event offers previews of the forthcoming season productions of the CCP Resident Companies namely the Ballet Philippines Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company, NAMCYA, UST Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Ballet Theater, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, Tanghalang Pilipino and the UST Symphony Orchestra; and numerous guest performing groups in dance, music and theater.

There will also be arts exhibitions, film showings, food booths, and other special attractions.

This year’s theme focus is on Tsinoy arts and culture, in partnership with Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran, Inc. and Bahay Tsinoy.  Featuring the Ling Nam Athletic Federation with their dragon dance, the Philippine Buddha Care with their lion cub dance, the Philippine Cultural College Chinese Orchestra, the Philippine Cultural College Folk Dance Troupe, classical singers Sherwin Sozon, Elaine Lee, Joanna Go and Roger Saldo Chua, singer Eva Marie Poon, exhibits on Chinese medicine and language, Chinese games, virtuescope or spiritual fortune telling, calligraphy session with the Ateneo de Manila Confucius Institute, and a Comida Tsina food strip.

PASINAYA: THE CCP OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL will be held on February 3, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in all CCP performance venues.  Pay what you can! See all you can! (Suggested donation: Php50.00)
