About a year ago, I’ve noticed that something big was happening at the street of Dr. M.L. Carreon corner of Pedro Gil and Tejeron in Sta. Ana, Manila when a 7-11 store was erected in this poorly populated and very quiet location.  Last Thursday when I visited the place again, a new residential community project is already standing right across the convenience store.  They call the place as MANILA RIVERCITY RESIDENCES.

Situated along the historic and scenic Pasig River in Sta. Ana, the Manila RiverCity Residences is another project of CDC Holdings, Inc. owner and manager of Paranaque’s Lions Park Residences and the soon-to-rise SENTRALE in Makati and RIVER GREEN RESIDENCES also in Sta. Ana, Manila.

Enclosed by the nation’s busiest economic centers of Makati, San Juan, Mandaluyong and Manila, its adjacency to schools and universities, plus being highly-accessible through private and public transportation makes Manila RiverCity Residences a prime location for cosmopolitan living.

I was part of a group that toured the residential project last week and was really excited to see it because this is very near our place.  Manila RiverCity Residences is conveniently located at the junction of three Manila towns – Paco, Pandacan and Sta. Ana.

Each residential unit has vinyl planks for the living, dining and kitchen, and bedroom floors, and unglazed tiles for the toilet.  There are no partition walls for bedroom/s but the interior walls and ceiling finishes all have one-coat paint, a good jumping off point for the scheme one wishes to apply, giving residents free rein on design options.

All other basics are provided, including the kitchen counter top with sink and faucet, and other kitchen and toilette fittings making the units move-in ready.

CDC Holdings Inc. offers a studio unit for as low as PHP 1.1.M or PHP 6,000 per month.  For wider market availability, a flexible payment scheme of down payment payable up to 24 months, with the balance payable up to 30 years through Pag-IBIG is also being offered, apart from the other available financing through in-house, bank or Pag-IBIG.

The Manila RiverCity Residences’ five buildings have been turned over and is now being enjoyed by unit owners who chose to enjoy an urban lifestyle at a more affordable price.  CDC Holdings, Inc. encourages buyers to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

The project is comprised of nine buildings ranging from 10-14 floors.  Each building is equipped with elevators, service stairs, 1.5 meter-wide corridors, roof decks with landing area, overhead tanks with water pump, and a standby generator for common areas.

A building named after a famous river

With 62 percent of its total 14,000 square meter lot area allotted for roads, landscaped areas and amenities such as playground, pavillion and swimming pool, the Manila RiverCity Residences also aims to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle via its proposed environment-friendly features that includes: installation of solar panels, rain water catch basin, landscaped park, pavilion, water-featured landscaping, and the promotion of waste segregation.

We were later joined by CDC Holdings, Inc. Vice President MS. CHARLENE CHUA SY right after the tour who explained about the goal of CDC Holdings, Inc. in providing people with a better alternative to urban community living through their various residential projects.  She was also excited about their new project in Makati called SENTRALE and their vision of creating a lot of community residential projects along the Pasig River Banks.

Ms. Charlene Chua Sy

Excellent location, move-in ready units, superb features and amenities, and value for money.  Indeed, the Manila Rivercity Residences is shaping up to be the smart choice for a well-connected life here in the City of Manila.  To know more about Manila Rivercity Residences and other CDC Holdings projects, call 813-8331 or visit www.cdcresidences.com.
