countdown to LIGHT
3… 2…1….Merry Christmas!

I was present during the formal launch of the campaign held last November 16 at the Meralco Multi-Purpose Hall in Ortigas attended by no other than the Meralco Chairman Manuel V Pangilinan himself together with DOT Secretary Ramon Jimenez, Meralco Senior Vice President for Customer Retail Services Alfredo Panlilio, other Meralco Execs and representatives from the different Local Government Units.

The campaign highlights the setting up of Liwanag Park s during the Christmas season in the jurisdiction of participating towns (LGUs).  Meralco will provide each participating town a Meralco Parol and 500 boxes of Christmas Lights.  There will be a contest among the participating towns where the best Liwanag Park will be awarded with cash prizes.  P100,000.00 for the 3rd Prize, P150,000.00 for the 2nd and P250,000.00 for the grand winner.

It’s easy to join, all you have to do is get a picture of your all prepped-up-for-Christmas lighted homes or the nearest Meralco Liwanag Park in your area – LIKE the Meralco FB page, download the Maliwanag Ang Pasko 2012 APP,read the mechanics,  enter details and upload your photo.  Each photo uploaded is equivalent to a raffle entry.  Winners will be drawn via an electric raffle.
