CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA presents an extra ordinary concert experience with X CLASS, his 10th Anniversary Concert at the Meralco Theater on October 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14.

The concert will feature some state-of-the-art technology, beautiful music and jaw-dropping production numbers.  X CLASS is directed by well-known concert director Rowell Santiago and musical director Louie Ocampo.

“X Class will feature all the elements that fans wants to see and hear in my shows, but we are doing it in a new, edgier fashion,” Christian explains.  “I am very excited to celebrate this milestone with everyone, so I hope everyone will join me in the concert.”

Christian launched X CLASS last August 22 (Wednesday) at Cerchio Restaurant.

Here are a few quotes from the media interview during the event:

When asked about her female guest in the concert, Christian said:

“Well, meron pero I’d like to say that I’d really want to think that people would come to my concert not because of who my guests are.  I think all artists would really love that and this goes to albums as well. “

Christian’s contract with Abs-Cbn will be expiring soon, media asked what his plans are, Christian said:

“I am very thankful with ABS CBN, as for plans, honestly I don’t know yet.  I am just taking it up to God and the negotiations to management.  Right now I can’t answer with a 100% certainty but my heart and mind is open.  I want to be challenged.  I want to make a mark.  I don’t want to be forgotten.  I don’t want it to appear that my career would depend on a channel.  I don’t want to sound proud but as you all know that I am not a 100% local artist.  I’d also like to consider exploring an international career.  Anything is possible.”

When asked about his greatest achievement, Christian said:

“When I was discovered by Carlo Orosa and then later put me in the spotlight of the entertainment industry.  Honestly, I didn’t know what I want to do then and that moment made my path clearer.  I am now waiting for my next path.”

When asked about what it means to survive 10 years in the entertainment industry, Christian said:

“After 10 years, some people would retire and establish a business, build a family and then comes back again to the industry because it is in their blood.  It’s the thing that they love.  As for me, my goal is to be like Tony Bennet or Basil Valdez or Jose Mari Chan, people who I had the privilege of working with.  I want to be like them still singing and still performing. That’s how I want to be remembered.  If you don’t innovate people will forget you so I am going to keep on re-inventing myself because it’s still in my blood to go places where I’ve never been.”
