The 10-track album contains both originals and revivals including the carrier single “I’ll be there.” The music video of the carrier single, which also featured Julie Anne’s onscreen partner Elmo Magalona, was launched last month also in Party Pilipinas. It was directed by Party Pilipinas co-director Mark Reyes. It has been viewed on the video sharing site YouTube almost one million times since its upload a day after its TV debut.
The album will be available in music stores nationwide beginning next weekend.
The downloadable version was made available yesterday and just hours after it debuted on iTunes, Julie Anne San Jose’s album hit the no. 1 spot.
“Grabe, sobrang nagulat talaga ako na malaman na no. 1 na yung album sa iTunes. I feel so blessed and I am really thankful to all the fans and supporters who downloaded my album. I hope mapasaya ko kayo sa album ko. Maraming salamat po talaga,” said Julie Anne in an interview before she engaged in a live chat with fans yesterday afternoon via www.gmanetwork.com.
The launching of Julie Anne’s album coincides with the premiere of her movie with Elmo Magalona, “Just One Summer,” which will hit theaters nationwide beginning Wednesday, August 15. The movie is directed by Mac Alejandre and produced by GMA Films.
