The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) proudly presents Noel Cabangon: Tuloy Ang Byahe The Concert this September 28, 8 p.m., at the Music Museum.
TULOY ANG BYAHE: THE CONCERT
Multi-awarded Filipino singer and composer Noel Cabangon together with other special guests Christian Bautista, Gloc-9, and other special guests, Tuloy ang Byahe The Concert will be a celebration of the finest OPM compositions as Noel performs his renditions of some of the most loved OPM classics, as well as his own compositions.
Proceeds of the concert will go to The PETA Endowment Fund, which is meant to ensure the sustainability of PETA which will allow them to continue their cultural work, developing future generations of artists like Noel Cabangon who are now leaders, movers and productive members of the creative force here and abroad, as well as providing a chance those who do not have financial resources to gain access to PETA’s unique creative programs.
For more than four decades now, PETA has committed itself to the pursuit of artistic excellence, with a vision of a distinct Filipino theater as a tool for social change. PETA has also nurtured and cradled hundreds of artists who, up to this day, continue to share their talents and expertise in theater, television, radio, print media and education.
Noel joined PETA in the early 90′s, dabbling in theater as a musical director, composer, actor, and teacher, imparting his years of experience in workshops aimed at educating the younger generations on the importance of theater.
“I continue to rally behind PETA and its ideals, so it is just fitting that we collaborate on Tuloy Ang Byahe The Concert, because for us, really, the journey continues,” says Noel. “It is also my way of thanking my audience for their undying support to me and my music.”
