Do you wonder what it’s like working with books all day? A visually impaired librarian will tell you what it’s like working with books in “Paglaki ko, Gusto ko Maging Librarian.” (July 14, 10 AM)
The Mobile Library celebrates its anniversary this month! Museo Pambata commemorates the years that the Mobile Library has spent delivering stories to kids in far-flung places with lots of exciting activities, as well as prizes from the Mobile Library’s sponsors (July 21, 9 AM).
For Museo Pambata’s featured book of the month, join a storytelling session about a young girl who is worried that she won’t wake up in time for school in “But That Won’t Wake Me Up!,” written by Annie and Anelka Lumbao, illustrated by Liza Flores, and published by Adarna House, Inc. (July 28, 10 AM).
Bring your friends and family along to enjoy our other activites: a shadowplay presentation (July 7, 10 AM), a folk dance performance (July 21, 10 AM), an arts and crafts session (July 22, 2 PM), and storytelling time every Saturday morning (10 AM).
Museo Pambata is located at Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive. Museum hours from Tuesday to Saturday are from 9 AM to 5 PM (with lunch break at 12nn to 1 PM) and 1 to 5 PM during Sunday. All activities are for free with admission (Php 100 for both children and adults). Manila residents with valid IDs may come in for free during Tuesdays and avail of a 50% discount on other days.
