Here are some of the tips I’ve picked up from Ms. Pangilinan’s talk:

  • Children have small tummies – don’t feed them more than they can handle
  • Presentation is key – if it looks yummy then it will make kids want to try it
  • Taste matters – if it doesn’t taste good.. no amount of presentation will make it delicious
  • No pushing and forcing – it takes time for kids to get used to a new kind of food or taste
  • It’s OK to have fun – make meal time – fun time
  • Parents should set the example – walk your talk

Mr. Wong, meanwhile, demonstrated how TIPCO is working continuously to introduce products that help today’s parents creatively integrate fruits and vegetables to the entire family’s diet.
