Night outs!  Blue Wave Macapagal is a sure hit for Barkada gimmicks and late night Metro escapade.  Located at Macapagal Avenue cor.  EDSA extension in Pasay City – just a few blocks away from the SM Mall of Asia.

In fact, even before the initial construction of the SM Mall of Asia, BLUE WAVE was already the place to be in this part of the Metro.  And it still is.

It has always been an ideal place for all kinds of meetings and gatherings and with the addition of THE COURTYARD with its live bands nightly – it easily became the official hang out of people from all walks of life.  What’s great about this place is the variety, you can groove to loud music and beers or you may opt for the formal dining pleasure or even just enjoy a cup of coffee or a quick meal.  Check out these shops and restaurants inside BLUE WAVE:

Here are the bands that performs at THE COURTYARD:

Last Wednesday, Tam and I went to see our balik-bayan friends Mae and Elvin.  After having dinner at their house, we then went to Blue Wave to meet some old friends.  While waiting for them, the four of us grabbed some drinks first at Starbucks before proceeding to THE COURTYARD.  Two bands performed that night – THE MANGO JUICE (an all girl trio) and FAT SESSION with the FANZYNOTES duo.  The Mocha Girls are suppose to play on Wednesdays but they’re currently out of the country.

Anyway, it was still a fun night.  Great music.  Great food.  Great Company.  It’s an over-all perfect night.

Here’s our group picture at THE COURTYARD

One final pic before going home

If you want to check out the place, here’s a map to help you get there.  There are also SM MOA (orange multicabs) terminal below the LRT EDSA/Rotonda Station – this PUVs will take you right in front of Blue Wave.
