Most animal or zoo enthusiasts are animal rights activists but the one who put up this sign is an extremist hahahaha )
It’s been quite a long time since I last visited a zoo or an animal park.
Last I’ve heard is that the giraffe in manila zoo are already extinct and the monkeys outside the cages looking at the other animals are livelier than the monkeys in the cages.
I also remember that the tigers and lions in Manila zoo are of a very shy and timid class since you don’t get to see them most of the time. They’re always inside their cages and they’re the ones that you really paid to see. Wait, maybe.. if we throw someone inside their mini plain, maybe we could get them to come out… let’s see…hmmmm.
Anyway, what you can really see in abundance inside the Manila Zoo then really were cats, chickens and a lot of ants.
They also have a petting zoo or kinder zoo before, don’t know if it’s still there. You get to mingle with some parrots, turtles, ostriches, crocodiles, man-eating dinosaurs.. )
I have dozens of pictures taken inside Manila Zoo but I guess with all the new and exciting zoological adventure parks here in the Philippines, I guess the Manila Zoo will remain to be just nostalgia for the 30′s and up Filipinos. Just like Luneta Park.
Well maybe, if they put more animals on it or add some exciting new educational and artistic concepts that could rival the new parks,.. maybe they’ll be able to revive the place and attract more patrons once again.
Or just bring these lovely PETA girls back there so that it will draw some crowds.
BTW, I am a proud supporter of PETA or the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, not because of these girls but because I love animals specially cats.
